Hiring Space at the Youth House
If you would like to hire room(s) at the Youth House for your group or activity, please contact us for availability and pricing either by calling us on 01271 321321 or by email. Please note that, as from 1st January 2022 we are moving to an hourly rate of £10.00 per hour (or part hour).
Bookable times:
Daytime: 8 am to 5:30 pm
Evening: 6 pm to 10:00 pm
There will be a half hour gap between bookings, to give the user time to clean and sanitise the room they have used before departing
Office Desk : £10 per day
Bookings may be made on a sessional or "full time" basis, or a combination of the two. For example an organisation may want a "permanent" office facility, but also need a session per week in the Coffee Bar for a different purpose. For floorplans and room photos please click here.
If yours is the only organisation using a room, you may set it up and leave it that way if you wish, whereas sessional use implies that the room must be left ready for the next user. (If multiple sessions are booked, then the next user could, of course, be yourself!).
We are willing to be flexible in the arrangements made to maximise the benefits to young people, whilst retaining a view of the economics and sustainability of the Youth House provision. Please talk to the Youth House, who will use their discretion to meet your requirements

If you are a young person/persons looking for a small base for your own activity e.g. Pop band, etc, we will always try to make a provision for you. Get in touch and see if we can help.
Child Protection
It is a requirement of BYH that all groups working directly with young people through BYH have policies and procedures in line with current Child Protection legislation, and safe working practices appropriate to their service and activities. When engaging staff (employed or voluntary), groups must apply screening in line with current legislation.
If you are a small group starting on the premises and need help with policies and procedures, please speak to us for advice and help.
