Who are we, and what do we do?
As a charity we have three main areas of activity:
- To provide facilities and an environment in which youth / community work can thrive:
- To assist voluntary groups to operate safely, effectively and to become self-sufficient;
- To deliver direct youth work projects / services to young people and those that support them.

The future
North Devon Council have generously provided the Barnstaple Youth House with a 99 year lease on the premises, ensuring this town centred base for the future generations of young people in the area.
We recently negotiated to extend the area of our lease to include the land to the rear of the premises, enabling us to provide more space for groups.
This area incorporates an old slaughter house, which used to supply the famous Butcher's Row until the outbreak of World War 2. Capital funding is being sought to refurbish this building and the adjoining outside area.
